Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Adult Assessment 18 years and over


Our diagnostic assessment consists of:

  • A highly qualified, experienced Multi-Disciplinary Team (Clinical Psychologist and Speech and Language Therapist) with you throughout whole assessment
  • Initial telephone discussion with key clinician, who will then become your allocated Key Person to support you during the diagnostic process and be your main contact throughout
  • Structured observation Face to face using the ADOS-2 with 2 clinicians, following Covid restrictions
  • A diagnostic interview conducted using the most clinically appropriate instrument, depending upon the individual’s circumstances. This will be either the ACIA, ADI-R, or the DISCO, as accredited with the National Autistic Society
  • A developmental history will be taken, where possible, either online or in person based on your needs
  • Review of available professional reports
  • Multi-disciplinary clinical discussion to discuss comorbidity and differential diagnosis
  • A highly detailed person-centred report containing informed and useful recommendations to support children and adults to achieve their full potential towards achieving well-being and success
  • Timely assessment and informed of outcome within 24 hours
  • Feedback meeting with you to go through report and recommendations
  • Finalisation of the diagnostic report


We use the best available diagnostic instruments to do our assessment and assessments will always be carried out by two clinicians and the ADOS-2 will always be completed face to face.


The fee for a diagnostic assessment for an adult is £2,150
